Oil.Booster Platform 36/22, on Ekofisk - Teeside Pipeline. (Norpipe) British Sector North Sea

When on leave from 36/22.(1976) I was working as Head Chef on a yard in Orkanger Norway. A French company name "Spie Batanolles" had 400 persons working on the yard with modules for TCP 2 Frigg. I was there to make sure they got the food they wanted. This was first time I become familar with Elf Aquitaine. Little I know then I should spend 26 years working on the Frigg Field. On contract for Elf / Total.

Safe Lancia.(Consafe Offshore Sweden) Connected to Ekofisk Field Center (When I was on) Ekofisk Area Norwegian Sector North Sea.

Safe Concordia (Consafe Offshore Sweden) Connected to Eldfisk Bravo (When I was on) Ekofisk area Norwegian Sector North Sea.

Safe Brittania ( Ex Safe Concordia) Consafe Offshore Sweden. Connected to "Nedloyd Trigon" on the rescue of the threaten "Saga Well" In the Norwegian Sector of the North Sea. Boot Hansen and his team was onboard.

Safe Holmia.Consafe Offshore Sweden. Seen in the British Sector North Sea. (I was onboard when she was laid up on Marine Aluminium in Haugesund)

Safe Gothia. Consafe Offshore Sweden. ( I was Food and Beverage Manager when Gothia was Hotell under an Oil Exhibition in Stavanger)

Identety Card TCP 2. I was working there on the whole hook upp (tie upp) who lasted 1.year. We had upp to 600 lunch served every day. About 2000 persons where working onthe Frigg Field at the time.1977 - 1978.

Part og the Frigg Field.(Cdp1 is not on the picture) The platform in front is QP British Sector, I was working as Chief Steward (Camp Boss) onboard for abouth 25 years.

Twice on my time on Frigg Field I was called onshore for a few weeks working on the Kollsnes Camp. First time to start up the first kitchen (of 4) Then after to help with the new cleaning contract we got on the whole camp.

QP. Frigg. The last crew was finish onboard June 2006. A sad day for many. On Frigg we all where like a big famely, and we all have great time when working there, for Total (Elf Aquitaine)

Draugen. Shell. The only platform Shell have on Norwegian Sector at 2006. I was working on Draugen only a few month. The management was great and the rest of the crew very frendly.

Saipem 7000, unloading a new modul with controll room, galley,cabins on Snorre A summer 2007. I was Chief Steward for 3 -4 month on the project. But all together I had about 3 years on Snorre A.

Receiving a present from the catering staff on my last trip on Snorre A. This was also my last trip offshore before retirement.

Platform manager on Snorre A wishes me a good retirement.

Since 1999 I have been working for ESS, member of Compass Group UK. ESS has for me been a fantastic company to work for.

Ja, St.B har beredskapshelikopteret, og hadde problemer med vindretningen noen ganger, derfor måtte de montere et ekstra dekk. Fin og gjennomført side du har.

Takk for det Ole Bjønnum. Jeg var på Statfjord B i Vats da Norske Chalk overtok cateringen. Siden ble det noen turer som vikar Stuert (forpleiningsleder)

Plattformen du kaller Statfjord B, er nok C plattformen. Ser det på det opphøyde helidekket, ellers var de jo nokså like.

Hei Ole, du har nok rett i det. Vet det var noe tull med helidekket da jeg var der. Ser ut i fra nytt bilde som jeg har lagt inn at det nå er to helidekk.

Hei Bjørn, tror det er Starcarrier du sikter til. Den kom i brann etter eksplosjon under lossing av blant annet dynamitt i Diego Suarez på Madagaskar 29.09.1961
